Maria Montessori's method of education dates back more than a century, but seems particularly suited to today's results-oriented and competitive times.

Protecting children from the pressure to learn and allowing them to develop their autonomy, their curiosity and their spirit of cooperation... this was the ambition of Maria Montessori (1870-1952) who trusted in the potential of each human being and their innate desire to learn.

Matthieu Garrigou-Lagrange talks to Martine Gilsoul, former director of a Montessori crèche in Rome, and to Charlotte Poussin, also a "Montessori educator". Martine Gilsoul is the author of the book " Maria Montessori.
